AUS Senior Living
Each month we visit a local a local nursing home facility and share gospel music. Not only do adults participate, but our youth and children do as well. Some times home made crafts/gifts are given to residents. Our pastor shares a message from the Word of God each time we're there. It is a blessing to be the hands and feet of Jesus sharing His love with those less fortunate.
Door to Door Ministry
Door to door ministry isn't easy or glamorous work. It's hot and we get sweaty. Not every one answers their doors anymore. But we do go and look for opportunities to share the gospel with our neighbors. Sometimes we leave door hangers on their doors and just let them know that we prayed for them.
Special Events
We host special events at church from time to time to provide opportunities to share the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospel is presented with clarity and an invitation is given for those who want repent and give their lives to Christ.
Tract Ministry
We have a tract center set up in the foyer. Members are encouraged to take these home and hand them out. A tract can be left for a waiter or waitress. It can be sent in a letter as you're paying your monthly bills. A tract doesn't argue and can get inside people's homes when you can't. Tracts have been an instrument the Holy Spirit has used to deal with the hearts of lost people and lead them to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Great Commission Prayer Meeting
In addition to our weekly prayer meeting, we hold prayer meeting on the second Thursday of every month to dedicate ourselves to praying exclusively for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Prayers are made for our missionaries and evangelists that are connected to our church, with the great majority of our prayers being directed to lost friends and loved ones connected to our church family.
